A Bao a Qu
A Bao a Qu was a Malayan creature who lived in the Tower of Victory in Chitor. A Bao a Qu's was a strange looking creature with soft skin and many tentacles. Pilgrims would climb the tower in order to gain enlightenment. A Bao a Qu would lie in wait for these pilgrims and would draw the life force from them as they climbed the tower. Legend has it that A Bao a Qu would grow stronger as the pilgrims climbed, changing colour and shape, but only when the pilgrim reaches the top of the tower would A Bao a Qu take a final form.
A Bao a Qu has only reached its destination at the top of the tower once in its eternal life.
