Dagon

In Philistine and Phoenician beliefs, Dagon was a fish god of agriculture and grain. He was depicted on many coins as half human and half fish, similar to a mermaid.
Dagon was worshipped in many maritime cities, including Gaza, Azotus, Ascalon and Arvad.
According to the classical writer, Philo, Dagon was one of the four sons of Anu, the lord of heaven and his wife or sister the Earth.
Many scholars believe that the first worshippers of Dagon were those of Ancient Babylon.
